  • My wife and I have attended St. Francis for over a year. We began by attending Christmas Eve services. Honestly, we returned because of the warm and inclusive welcome we received from the pastor and parishioners. St. Francis is a small, intimate parish. You are encouraged - but never pressured - to be as involved as you wish. Father Tim greets each of us by name after services. These characteristics stand in stark contrast to most churches we have attended over the years. We hope more people seeking a religious home will join us to experience the same love and caring we have.

I started attending St Francis back in 2005 when I attended with my best friend Michael Drinkwater, who was very well known in the church who is now in seminary becoming a priest. The youth group was mostly run by the youth, and was filled with discussion and openness, I was impressed. Father Allen was the priest at this point, and the church made me feel welcome, until he moved to another church and St Francis grew judgmental and it was never the same after that.... Jane Ellis was the last youth minister back when I attended that church and she did everything she could to help out the youth, and make everyone feel like they had a place in the church and she was completely amazing. Once the church told her to end her career there, I decided it was time to move on, Jane was an amazing person, and that church will never have a youth group like they had once before ever again.... The church should not have changed, cause if it would have stayed the same back when Father Allen was there, I would still attend every Sunday. It has been 10 months since I have attended, and I will probably never go back.

Spoke to someone there (chris maybe?) on the phone regarding an Ipad I had left there a few months back. I had left my name and number so that in case I couldnt get to it soon, they could contact me. I told them I had been out of town due to a family emergency and was interested in coming to pick it up. I was rudely greeted by Chris and told that my Ipad was no longer there, they had donated it. I asked her why they had donated such an expensive piece of technology, especially when they had my contact info. She told me there was no contact info and that it was gone, that was that. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, she asked me "Well...what are you going to say?" I told her I was going to find a way to get it back. It has pictures of my sons birth on there and I wasnt expecting them to have given in away. She paused and jusst said, well its gone, I dont know what else to tell you.

Rude, short, and just generally unpleasant. And she's supposed to be representing a church??? No wonder I'm not a church goer.

  • My husband and I have been members here since 2007. I felt very welcomed when we joined and have participated in in many of the activities. My husband.s funeral was this past February. It was a warm, loving ceremony for friends and family.
